Inspiration

We went to the fair back in June and I took some pictures but just never posted them. Then on two seperate blogs today I read about carnivals, fairs, and ferris wheels. I figured it was a nudge to post so here is my inspiration for today.

What a great pic. That is about as close as I will get a ferris wheel. I went on one once and got stuck at the top f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I swore if I ever got off I wouldn't get back on one. Kept that promise!

Love how you've captured the movement of the ferris wheel. I usually have to hold on tight on the ferris wheel, scared of heights.

I love your photo! The focused center and blurry edges really capture the movement of the ferris wheel. I might have to steal your trick during our carnival this week.

Beautiful photo...but I have to agree with some of the others...I stay far away from feris wheels!

Thanks ladies. I agree with all of you. I won't get near a ferris wheel! My daughter has been wanting to go but I tell her she has to convince her dad because I won't be joining her :)

That is a great shot- I love how it shows the movement and the lighting!!

And if we are sharing ferris wheel stories...when I was 18 I went on a regular old ferris wheel with my 15 yo sister in FL. I am deathly afraid of heights and did not feel safe at all and started to cry. So badly that they stopped the ride to let me off. I still remeber a little girl waiting in line to go on asking her appalled mom, why is she crying?. My sister was MORTIFIED. I've never gone on one (or let my girls ride one) since.

Hi Steph! The greatest victory I have had in 23 years with Uncle Pat was getting him on the ferris wheel at the Del Mar Fair a few years ago. I thought he was going to pass out! That was the one and only time for him. Me...I want to go bungee jumping but he won't let me....Love, Auntie
