This is what happened when I was cleaning the guest room getting ready for an out of town friend. It was her first self-cut and hopefully her last. What was she thinking! She said she didn't want bangs. That's what we were growing them out for! UGH!!
Notice the longer bangs she cut for herself and then the ones that are right at the scalp. Oh yeah, that'll take a while to grow back.

Oh my! I did that when I was five.....when people asked me who cut my hair, I said my MOM did it!

Oh dear, my DD's "friend" cut her fringe for her once - the only problem was that she didn't have one.
Brings back memories. My cousin did the EXACT same thing. =P A story to tell when she gets older and you have a great pic. to go with it.
lol. gianna cut her bangs completely at the hairline when she was five for the same reason. Growing them out was PAINFUL to watch. :)

how did i not notice this, or at least hear about it? my friend's daughter did the same thing about 5 times over the course of about 2 years, so it could definitely be worse! (that's supposed to cheer you up, btw)
