go fly a kite!

Taking advantage of the great weather we've been having, Skyler suggested we go try and fly her kite yesterday. It turned out to be a perfect day for it!

She's so excited that she can fly it on her own!

Then we went to the park to play after. It was a good day!

on another note: I'm reading the "Unauthorized Biography of Tom Cruise" for my book club. He is a "kookie cookie" as Skyler would say! I can't believe some of the stuff that goes on in Scientology! No offense to any Scientologists out there but I think they're a little cookoo! This is going to be a VERY interesting book club discussion in April!

first post!

So, my friend Carlie, at baby bintz, suggested I start a blog so she can keep track of what's going on in my life. I've actually just started reading blogs and find them so interesting. What better way to keep everyone updated on your goings-on (if anyone actually cares about your goings-on). Is that all it took was one person to suggest I start one? What can I say, I have a hard time saying no.

So, here it goes. My first attempt.

My friend, Carrie, and I took our kids to this little one room schoolhouse that I've been dying to go see. She is starting a photography business and I thought it would be a great place for her to take some pictures. We thought we would use our kids as guinea pigs!
